Treat Yourself

You did it! You've finished that to-do list. You have completed that last minute task. You have accomplished that short term or long term goal, and now it's time to celebrate and reward yourself!

Unfortunately, those rewards can cost you quite the pretty penny. After one or two celebrations, your new goal will be to make back what you just spent on your reward, which, in a way, is going backwards...and ain't no body got time for that!

While it's important to treat yourself, it's just as important to do so responsibly.

Here are some different ways that you can do so. I highly recommend doing all of these in moderation. This helps to maintain the reward's high value.

  • Create a new playlist
  • Take a day off and have a Netflix binge
    (after your workout of course)
  • Make chocolate chip cookies.
    (I mean, c'mon, who doesn't like home-made cookies?)
  • Buy a new book
    (one of my personal favorites!)
  • Enjoy some chocolate-covered berries
  • Go to the beach
  • Take a nap
  • Go somewhere quiet and bring your favorite book
  • Check out a museum
  • Have a glass of wine
  • Experiment and make an Avocado, Feta Pizza!...

Use your imagination and be creative. I'm sure that there are tons of other cheap and free ideas that you will come up with.
